Who We Are
The Home Builders Association of Northwest Michigan, Inc. is a professional association of industry leaders who support legislative educational, and economic initiatives to promote home ownership in our community. The Association was chartered in 1970 and represents eight counties in Northern Michigan including Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, and Wexford.
Our mission to be a high-quality resource for building industry professionals who provide outstanding service to our community.
Our Foundation
The Northwest Michigan Skilled Trades Foundation support residential building in our eight-county region, emphasizing education. They provide scholarships to local students pursuing careers in skilled construction trades, shaping the future workforce that Northern Michigan needs.
Our mission is to advance sustainable careers in the skilled trades through fundraising, charitable contributions,
and workforce development.
